HELLO My name is Zsuzsanna Györgyövics. I was born (1969) in Budapest. I grew up in a village in the middle of a beautiful nature area with many forests and from here comes my passion for trees because trees are a feast for the eyes, in the summer with many shades of green, in the autumn beautiful colors, in the winter they seem dead, but in the spring they come to life with renewed vigor. The trees are a source of life. They offer protection and shade, a habitat for many animal species. People use the wood to make houses and furniture and as a heat source. So it is not without reason that the tree is the symbol of life.
I started making wire trees, really small +- 20 cm and then bigger and bigger, it took about 2 years of work to find the right technique and wire to get to what I make now, dimensions up to 2.5 meters wide (on the wall) 80 cm high (standing), is now possible, and I try to make them even bigger and more types.
Making them isn't easy, as it's not just a matter of twisting a few pieces of wire together. To make a tree about 140 cm wide, you'll need more than 1000 meters of wire. I make them to order in the dimensions the customer desires.
